WALK IT OUT

Don’t wait for a call for corporate prayer and fasting at your church. Seek after the Lord individually, and He will bless you and those connected to you. I know for a fact that God will answer! He will show you things and tell you things that others cannot understand, perceive, or receive. He will strengthen you and keep you through the attacks that will come, and they will surely come! There have been times when I’ve thought I can’t take anymore, but God! Keep your eyes on Him. Don’t get distracted. Turn your ears from the naysayers, criticizers, and backbiters. Stay focused. Don’t cave in to the pressure. Don’t get discouraged by your curcumstances. Maintain the right attitude, and remember you’re fight is with the enemy and not others that he will try to use as his pawns. The spiritual will reign over the natural. The natural man may be weak and fearful, but the spirit man is a warrior. Keep pressing. Keep fighting. Keep believing. The more you get pressed down and surrounded just keep bending your knees, praying and fasting. Your turn around will come in due season if you faint not! Keep the faith, and remember that there is POWER in the mighty name of JESUS!! Call on Him, and He will answer by and by.

STAND ON THE WORD

2 Corinthians 10:4

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

The Living Word

Stand On The Word

1 John 2:1-6

1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Walk It Out

1. Your life should prove you are a Christian in word and deed.

2. You should be a reflection of your heavenly Father. Others should see Him in you!

3. Live a holy and separated life unto the Lord. Repent quickly if you mess up, and give God thanks for His mercy and grace through the sacrifice of Jesus.

Something To Think About…

The joy of the Lord is my strength! Sorrow abounds all around us as we or our loved ones deal with stress, disappointments, illness, and loss, yet still we can find joy in the presence of the Lord! When darkness tries to overtake me I look to the hills from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord! Your help comes from the Lord too! I might have to cry sometimes, but I hold fast to God’s promise that one day He will wipe away every tear! I may not always understand “why”, but I’m thankful for the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. The one who can keep me and you through it all, the great I am, is always with us even when we might feel alone and forsaken. God said He will never leave us nor forsake us, and we must believe this as we walk in faith through the storms of life. I may feel sadness try to overtake me unawares, but in the presence of my Lord it must flee! The joy of the Lord is my strength! I will trust and abide in Him!!

The Living Word

Acts 17:24-31

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Whenever there is a renovation going on the building looks a wreck. Things are ripped out and torn down. Signs are posted saying “Please excuse the mess” to placate those easily frustrated or uncomfortable with the changes. Some people speculate what the new building will look like while others might wonder if it will be more functional/useful to the community. The process is usually long, drawn out, tiresome, and demanding on those involved, yet the finished product (if completed by capable hands) far exceeds most expectations. The torn up mess is quickly forgotten as the vision is finally realized. As a believer, you might sometimes go through this same process, and while onlookers might look, gossip, and criticize you for your apparent state of disarray do not worry, doubt, or fear. Just go through the process resting in the capable and caring hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. He will beautify the meek. He will do a great work in you and through you if you allow Him to do so. Trust Him. Don’t begrudge the process!!
