13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

I see posts with negative comments or jokes on Facebook and YouTube about people praising the Lord at weddings and currently graduations, etc. all the time, and I find it is interesting that some think praise is appropriate only in church. What about “I will bless the Lord at ALL times! Why is it okay to dance and scream about someone carrying a ball across the goal line for a touchdown, but you should be quiet when the Lord has carried you safely through 13 years of school (more if you are graduating from college). It’s okay for schools to blast secular music in the gym for physical education everyday and to hold dances for kids who are only 5 and up (which automatically leads them to talk about dating and boyfriends and girlfriends even in kindergarten), yet Christians should not pray at school or out loud to avoid offending others. Yes, there is a time and season for all things. Yes, all things should be done decently and in order. My only question is why is that time and place becoming less and less while our world is getting worst and worst everyday. To those who want to get your praise on I say celebrate to the fullest, dance like David danced inspite of the ridicule of others, because the world sure enough won’t stop doing their evil to avoid your discomfort or respect your lifestyle and God’s ways. To God be the glory!
The joy of the Lord is our strength!!
1 Thessalonians 5:18
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Stand On The Word
1 John 2:1-6
1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Walk It Out
1. Your life should prove you are a Christian in word and deed.
2. You should be a reflection of your heavenly Father. Others should see Him in you!
3. Live a holy and separated life unto the Lord. Repent quickly if you mess up, and give God thanks for His mercy and grace through the sacrifice of Jesus.
Stand On The Word
