Verse Of The Day

Psalm 127:3-5

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

The joy of the Lord is my strength!! How often have we quoted this without fully comprehending and believing that it is so in our lives today and always. Life’s many trials and circumstances may cause us to feel weak and even despondent at times, but we can remember the name of the Lord and rejoice knowing that He is our provider and our waymaker.  We know that this is so, because we serve a faithful God who has proven himself to us time and time again. This joy that I have the world didn’t give it to me, and the world can’t take it away!! Through the good and the bad I will lean on my heavenly Father, and trust Him to guide me through it all!!  Storms may rise, but I am safe because my Father is there to protect me! He’s there for you too!! He is your joy in sorrow!! He is your provider when you have a need!! He is your healer when your mind and body are wracked with pain!! He calms the storms with simply a word from on high, “Peace. Be still.”  I am forever grateful to know and abide with a loving God who cares for me and cares for you too!!!  I may feel weak and you may feel weak at times, but our God is strong and mighty!! Trust Him!! He’s got this issue under control!! He’s got us in the palm of His loving hands!!

Sharing an old Facebook post today!

Sometimes we make the “mistake” of sharing the plans God has for us with the wrong people at the wrong time like Joseph did. However, don’t worry when others raise up against you in jealousy, or doubt what you say God has said to you. You may have to suffer for a season: be excluded, berated, falsely accused, stripped of wordly titles, set aside and forgotten, but rejoice and remain steadfast knowing that in due season your promise shall come to past! What God has for me is for me!! What God has for you is for you!! Rejoice!!! Remember praise opened the prison doors in the midnight hours. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Until God says it is finished / completed don’t give up or quit believing, trusting, and praying for your situation or circumstance. You never know, that ending/change that appears to be final, undesirable, or sad just might be the beginning of something great in your life that will lead to an unexpected victory or opportunity. Remember the cross? Jesus said it is finished, and little did the enemy know what great thing had just taken place. Seek God on today, and if He says it is finished trust Him and release that thing so that you can grab a hold of what is yet to come.
