It’s way past time to wake up! Years ago I had a dream about a church. The service was going on as usual, and at first glance everything appeared okay. However, upon looking closer I could see that some people had actually fallen asleep (all over the church), and as I continued to watch people slowly began to disappear. No, this had nothing to do with the rapture, but instead the state of some churches. People are backsliding sitting right in the house of God, and it’s not just the saints. Singers, musicians, prayer warriors, ushers, deacons, missionaries, and yes even preachers are allowing the enemy to creep in and steal them away. 2 Timothy 3:5 says “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away”. Turn away from those people and things that draw you away into sin, and return to God, your first love. True praise, a heart of worship, and obedience can restore that which was lost if we hold fast to truth and that which yet remains. People are falling asleep in the church, and it’s way past time to wake up. Sound the alarm. Wake up! Wake up!! WAKE UP!!!
